Refund And Cancellation Policy
This policy gives a practical baseline for launch operations. Event-specific policies may be stated at registration.
Event And Tournament Registrations
If you cannot attend, contact us as early as possible. Refunds or credits may be offered when requested before event materials, staffing, or limited-capacity spots have been committed. Same-day no-shows may not be refundable.
Club Cancellations
If Knight's Gambit Chess cancels an event, we will offer a refund, transfer, or credit for the affected registration.
Classes
Class refunds depend on the timing of the request and whether the class series has started. Missed sessions are not automatically refundable, but staff may offer a make-up option when practical.
Memberships
Memberships are billed through Square. Cancellation stops future renewal charges, but prior membership charges are not automatically refundable unless required by law or approved by Knight's Gambit Chess.
Payment Processor Timing
Approved refunds may take several business days to appear, depending on Square and the issuing bank.
